Back Alley has some new and exciting
things coming your way this year.
We are currently working on our new
CD. We are on track to have it ready by the end of spring. Some original
tunes along with some classic blues in the style you have come to love and
expect from The Back Alley Band.
We have been selected to compete in
the Grafton Blues Association Blues Challenge on along with 7 other bands.
The winner will be participating in the International Blues Challenge in
Memphis. The other bands are:
Sue DeBaco & Wise Fools, Matt Hendricks Band, Kenny J & Blue Wagon, Hounds
Tooth, Charles Walker Blues Band, Maple Road, Queenie & The Blue Cats. The
event will be help at Circle B in Grafton on Saturday May 10th. Doors open
at 5:30 pm, Music starts at 6:00 pm with Back Alley tacking the stage at
6:40. We are honored as we are participating with some of Blues elite.
The Back Alley Band has been nominated
for a WAMI in the category of Best Blues Artist/Group. The awards show is
Monday April 28th at 7:00 and is open to the public.
